Fresh out of a local (Atlanta) estate comes this United Daughters Of The Confederacy pin. This is the more rare of the types I have seen in my research, made by Whitehead & Hoag Co. of Newark, NJ. It is marked on the back accordingly. There is no purity mark denoting the purity of the metal from which it is made, the other pins I have seen (same design and maker) have purportedly been 10k. I make no claims or guarantees for this to be the case, as I have done no testing, just passing along my finds in researching. The pin is in great condition for the age (I believe early 1900\'s) and there are minimal signs of wear. The pin stem is in good shape and all aspects function as they should. There are pictures to help determine size and weight. All measurements are approximate. I also have another of these available (unless it has been purchased). Shipped with tracking.
