Here\'s a Very Unusual 1981 Krewe of Rex Pinkish Oxidized Silver Doubloon. The doubloon measures 39 mm or 1 1/2\" in diameter and is in Excellent Condition. Payment due within 48 hours of purchase. Note: The reverse features an Angel Clutching a Large Book and reads \"ARS POETICA...1981.\" This doubloon was designed by Blaine Kern Artists and made in West Germany. This doubloon is described as \"Unusual\" because of its Pinkish Color. The Lettering, Rims and High Points of the Design all have an unusual Pinkish Hue. This gives the doubloon a Special Kind of Warmth. (Unless specifically described as \'toning,\' any Gold, Green or Purple Hues appearing on any item are the reflection of a Mardi Gras Banner which hangs above my desk.)
