Thehandle of this folding pen knifeis made of ivory colored celluloid.It\'s unusual in the way the folded blade is secured. Instead of havingan internal spring there is a sliding steel loop on the handle.It slides into place to hold the knife both closed and open. I\'ve seenshaving blades with this form, but never a penknife or pocket knife.Thecondition is excellent with no chips or other damage. The steel bladeis sharp and intact. It measures3 7/8\" longclosed and 5 1/4\" with the blade open. It was bought in England.
