Offeredfor sale is this unusual and wonderfully decorated Art Deco IMCOSafety squeeze petrol pocket lighter in its original box. It wasmanufactured by the IMCO company who started in Vienna Austriaapprox. 1935. This lighter has a squeeze action to operate theflintwheel. The chrome plated finish is near perfect and thegeometric Art Deco pattern is superb and in perfect order.

Thelighter measures 50mm high x 36mm wide x 12mm deep. The mechanismworks perfectly each time and produces a good strong spark. It willrequire lighter fluid if required for use.

Thelighter is unused and the wick is still white. There are no dings ordents and the plating is perfect. The lid closes and opens correctlywith a good spring action. The base of the lighter is marked “IMCOSilby”. The fuel tube is made of aluminium

Themechanism has excellent side press action and would make a greataddition to any lighter collection.

Thebox is original and also marked IMCO Silby. The corners are intact asare the inside flaps. One end is slightly scuffed.
