Unusual Fred Harvey era sterling silver Pueblo made squash blossom necklace with a heavy central naja and seven corn design blossom pendants on each side. The naja is constructed from three triangular silver wires with three applied round dome silver buttons. The side pendants represent an ear of corn and have a similar construction as the naja with small applied stamped raindrops at the tips of the corn. This lovely necklace is strung on a sturdy foxtail chain with 72 saucer shaped approximately 7mm diameter HANDMADE silver beads and is completed with a simple hook and eye clasp.

Excellent quality and condition with a nice dark patina. Nice weight for a necklace this dainty. Unsigned, as is typical of jewelry of this era – ca. 2nd quarter of the 1900’s. I believe that this necklace is Pueblo and not Navajo crafted because of the corn motif and lack of fluted ends to the side blossom pendants.
