ORIGINAL COLUMN TABLE OIL LAMP, COMPLETE WITH CHIMNEY AND SHADE. IT HAS A NICE BRASS AND COPPER BASE WITH UNUSUAL BRASS VINE DECORATION. IT HAS A FULLY WORKING POSTLETHWAITES BURNER WITH TWIN WICKS ADJUSTED BY A SINGLE WINDER. THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THE LAMP IS GOOD. THERE ARE SOME AGE RELATED MARKS AND IMPERFECTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH ANTIQUE PARTS. MOST NOTABLY THERE IS A CRACK AT THE FOOT OF THE COLUMN, BUT THIS IS ONLY COSMETIC AND DOES NOT EFFECT THE RIGIDITY OF THE STAND. THE FOUNT IS SET SLIGHTLY OFF HORIZONTAL - MAYBE DURING MANUFACTURE OR POSSIBLY IT HAS BEEN REATTACHED AT SOME POINT - IT IS, HOWEVER, WELL ATTACHED. THE SHADE MAY BE LATER THAN THE LAMP. THE COPPER AND BRASS HAVE A NICE PATINA AND I HAVE NOT ATTEMPTED TO POLISH IT.
