This sale is for an original production cel created by Nickelodeon Studios for the 1991 animated cartoon The Ren and Stimpy Show, created by John Kricfalusi. This hand-painted REN cel measures 5.5\"x8\" on a 10.5\"x12.5\" cel sheet. The cel is unusual in how the line-work for the cel is constructed. As you can see in the photos I have included in this listing, the cel is made up of 3 cel sheets. The top cel sheet has some of the black line-work, but also the eyes, ears, nose, and right foot. The middle cel sheet had a majority of the paint for the body and mouth, while the bottom cel sheet has just Ren\'s hand. The unique composition of this cel makes for an interesting display. The condition of this cel is excellent, and the colors are vibrant with clear dark line-work. This is a beautiful cel from a truly one-of-a-kind cartoon.
