Thisis a vintage purse from the 1940\'s or 1950\'s. I tested it for Bakelite and is not, so I think it could be Lucite. Thepurse is about 5 ½” tall, 7” long & 4” wide at the bottom.It has an impressed design \'oak leaf\' highlightedin black. The larger black areas are cutout with a black feltmaterial. The short felt double handle loops about 6” above thepurse and it has 3 balls. There are two similar balls gluedto the side of the purse. One of these appears that it was re-glued –and glue residue indicates it was relocated a bit. The snap assemblyis made of brass (non-magnetic) with another decorative piece attached. The bottom hinge is also made of brass – andseems to be in very good condition.The deep maroon red interior fabric with pockets remains in very nice condition with no tears. It has been used, so itcould use a good cleaning. The exterior is also in used – butdecent condition, with no breakage. Please look closely at thephoto’s, being sold \'as is\'.
