This listing is for a very unusual art deco or mid century modern object.It stands approximately 11\" tall x12 long x 9\" wide. I wish to be very clear in that I have absolutely no idea what this is, who made it or for what purpose. I do know that is shows a lot of age and needs to be polished however despite exhaustive internet research I have not found anything even of remote resemblance and would appreciate any information whatsoever to add to my listing.

Regardless of the original purpose this object would make a fine magazine rack and might even be a one of a kind piece. Given the potential rarity I will out a high tag on however will consider any and all somewhat reasonable offers so do not worry about offending me. If you can identify the object and approximate value even better as we can negotiate from there.
