For sale is this remarkable quality antique Islamic bowl and cup set. They date from late 19th century.
The bowl is made from brass and has been inlaid with silver. It has been hand chased with breathtaking Arabic calligraphy. It has further silver inlay added for extra detail.
The cup has been hand chased with Arabesque designs and Arabic calligraphy.
The quality of both pieces is very fine. I especially love the quality of the bowl.
Size
The height of the bowl is 5.8cm = 2.3 inches
The diameter of the bowl is 7.5cm = 3 inches
The height of the cup is 5cm = 2 inches
Both pieces are in excellent condition.
