On offer is this RARE 1965 General Electric T-1040A AM/FM Bookshelf Fold Out Stereo Receiver - duel sided speakers. Speakers fold out with no wires as the hinges serve as the connection. Collectors, please look closely at our photos. This is our first time selling one of these and we don\'t know anything about old radios so we rely on you to ask questions before offerding. Condition: Cosmetically good with a few scratches/nicks to the walnut finish which is easily addressed. Speaker grills are good on all four sides. Dial face and knobs are present, tight and move well. When you turn the radio on, both AM and FM works (as in sound comes through the speakers). We can only tune in a few channels in FM. All else is static. Static modulates with volume knob and when navigating from channel to channel. Both speakers conduct sound.

MEASURES When closed it is 18\" inches wide by 7 1/2\" inches deep by 12\" inches high. When the speakers are folded out, the width extends to 36\" inches wide.
