Here is a rare and beautiful Victorian English Sterling silver Repousse cigarette or snuff box with character scenes on every side of the box. It is by Thomas Hayes of Birmingham in 1903. Unfortunately the feet are bent causing the body to be slightly malformed and the lid to not stay all the way closed. This is a relatively easy fix for an experienced jeweler and does not detract much from the beauty of this rare piece. It measures 1 15/16\" tall by 5 1/2\" wide by 2 1/2\" deep and weighs 174.8 grams.
