A true Victorian era brooch in Onyx, 14kt gold and seed pearls with a hard stone cameo mounted in the center. Measuring about 2 5/8\" long. Two seed pearls missing, easily replaced with any Jeweler. Lily of the valley decoration, the cameo is expertly carved in far more detail than I could pick up with my camera and lighting. Findings are original, with swivel hoop for dangling an additional pendant, the pin is an expert period replacement in silver, a few flea bites to the onyx, two on the reverse, one on the obverse. What looks like a chip above the cameo on the onyx is just bad lighting.
