VICTORIAN TRAVELLING POCKET NICKEL & GLASS INKWELL DESKTOP WRITING STAR & MOON:

This is for a nice antique Victorian travelling pocket inkwell. It has a nickel case with a hinged bar that slips over the lid keeping it sealed shut for transit and when moved acts as a stand keeping the inkwell upright. There is a button on the side that releases the lid and the glass inkwell sits inside. The underside of the lid has a built in sprung stopper that fits over theneckof the glass bottleand the bottle itself is removable. The button has a star and crescent moon motif which I think is German but I\'m not sure?. I have shown it with a pen included to give an idea of its use, but obviously the pen is not included in the sale, it is being sold separately.It is in excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere, there are no chips or cracks to the glass and no dents to the metal. It measures 30mm (1.25\") acrossand stands 40mm (1.5\") tall.
