DescriptionVintage Decoware Oval Zephyr Lunchbox 1930\'s I\'m selling this amazing tin litho Zephyr lunchboxfor a friend who said her brother used it briefly in the late 1930\'s. Since then, it was has been used for button storage. It measures 8 1/2\" x 5 3/4\" x 3 1/2\". With the handles in the up position, the height is 7\". Considering its age and the fact that it was made for children to use on a daily basis, this lunchbox is in very good condition. The tin litho graphics are for the most part clean and clear with minimal scratching and paint wear under the lid and on the handles. There are a few very soft bends in the metal but nothing major. The handles are tight and work as they should. The interior is clean with with minor signs of wear. It is marked Decoware on the bottom. Interestingly, the Pioneer Zephyr was a Burlington train built in 1934 featuring extensive use of stainless steel, Art Deco styling and cars which were permanently articulated together.I\'ve taken photos from all angles so please enlarge them as they are considered part of the description.
