DETAILS

ITEM DESCRIPTION

You are being offered in a BUY NOW sale a Royal Doulton figure titled, \"The Old Balloon Seller\". 

A Viewer to my listing shared the following which I have also attached, \"You have one of the \"dated\" figurines. That little #15 dates this piece to 1943. For a short period Doulton used this dating system on their figurines. You take the original date of issue (in this case 1928) and add the little number to that date and then you have the date of issue of your item. 1928 + 15 = 1943.Hope you find this little bit of info useful.\" 

  1. The figurine depicts an old woman sitting down and holding strings to balloons.
  2. To the right of the crown on the underside is the number 15. In my ITEM DESCRIPTION above, I share the significance of this.

  3. The figurine is identified on the bottom with HN 1315.
  4. There is an impression in the bottom of some numbers I was unable to decipher them.

CONDITION :

This was carefully examined with optical head magnifying glasses. I also carefully went over the piece with my fingers to try and detect any blemishes.

  1. The figure is in good condition. (Please note, good condition means an item has one or more blemishes.)
  2. It has no cracks, breaks repairs.
  3. There is some crazing.
  4. On the balloon seller\'s left side as her dress nears the floor, there is a flea bite. A photo shows two views of this.

SIZE : (The measurements are approximate.)

  1. The figure measures ” long, 7.75” high, 5.25\" across and 5” deep.

    HANDLING CHARGE/ INSURANCE:
  1. There is a Handling Charge on all items. If you feel this would prevent you from giving me 5 DSR stars (Detailed Seller Ratings) in response, please do not offer.
  2. The Handling Charge is a minimum of $2.50. On large items, the Handling Charge will be more. (First Class items have a handling charge of a dollar.)
  3. The Handling Charge is to cover any or all of the following:(Packaging Materials-bubble wrap, tape, peanuts, box, tube, Styrofoam sheet insulation, etc.) and My Time (packing, shipping and driving to the shipping location.), Insurance. and Surcharge to Sellers on postage.

    SHIPPING ADDRESS CHANGE :

RETURN & ADUSTMENT POLICY:

All correspondence, as is described below, is to be through Messages.

If the item is not as described in the listing and/or as shown in the photos:

  1. The Buyer is to contact me and provide me with clear concise photos of the problem within 14 days from receipt of the item. (The shipper’s tracking delivery date is the date of receipt.)
  2. If the Buyer’s complaint is justified, I will work with you to reach an adjustment. If we are unable to agree, I will accept the item back. It must be shipped within 3 business days of me approving return. ( The Buyer is to ship the item back with the same coverage it had when it was sent unless I state otherwise in an email.
  3. The Buyer will be issued a complete refund for the Cost of the Item, all Shipping Costs (including the fee to return the item to me) and Handling charges. The refund will be issued in the same form the item was paid for - PayPal with PayPal, etc.

INSURANCE CLAIM: For reimbursement on insured items that are damaged in transit, the BUYER will file a claim with the Shipping Service.
