\"THE ORIENT EXPRESS\"golden silhouette,etched in 24 KARAT GOLD on Sterling Silver and

mounted on a rich black background in a handsome hardwood frame.

This item was originally issued as a limited edition in 1983byPRIVATEINVITATIONonly!

It was historically and technically authenticated by the NATIONAL RAILWAY MUSEUM and commemorates the

100th anniversary of the first run of Europe\'s most legendary train, the Orient Express.

This silhouette portrays the sturdy engine which pulled the Orient Express from the Gare de l\'Est in Paris

on October 4, 1883, on its first run to the Orient!

The history of the renowned train is related in the specially written commentary affixed to the back of the frame.

With the commentary is a Certificate of Authenticity attesting that this silhouette is an official issue

of the National Railway Museum.

Framed size of this piece is 20\" long by 9\" high.
