Up for sale this rare Swiss Made vintage manually-wound three-register triple-date chronograph Wakmann, manufactured in 1960\'s in affiliation with Charles Gigandet Swiss Watch Co.
The Wakmann Watch Co. is also known as a distributer of Bretling watches in US.

This highly complicated timepiece is equipped with a famous Valjoux 730 calendar caliber movement (same as Valjoux 72C with added shock-proof Incablock system). The movement has been just fully serviced and overhauled, and working perfectly.

The case is in used very good condition. The original clean two-tone dial looks immaculate. The stainless steel screw-down case back is clean with all the engravings intact.

The acrylic crystal is clean and free of scratches, the watch retains it\'s hard to find original signed winding crown.

It is not recommended to adjust the calendar and to turn hands backward between 9 PM and 3 AM, to avoid damaging this highly complicated mechanism.

This collectible timepiece would be an excellent financial investment, always raising its value.

Swiss Made; three-piece; water-resistant; signed; yellow gold-plated; stainless steel screw back; top pusher starts and stops the chronograph, the bottom one resets to zero; two calendar adjusting pushers on left side: the top one advances both dates in the windows if pressed strongly, or just the month if pressed slightly; scratch-free acrylic crystal; original signed winding crown;

DIAL:

original silver two-tone dial; yellow-gold/black hands and hour markings; 12-hour, 30-minute and 60-seconds sunken registers; signed; weekday and month apertures; outer date chapter;

MOVEMENT:

genuine 17 jewels Swiss Made Valjoux 730 calendar chronograph caliber (with Incablock shock-resisting system); manually-wound; column-wheel; diameter 29.5 mm, 13 lignes; height 5.85 mm; fully serviced and overhauled; excellent working and keeping time; all chronograph and calendar functions work as it should;

BAND:

brand new black leather 20 mm stitched band; non-signed yellow-gold color buckle; total length of the watch with band and buckle 9 1/2" (24 cm).
