Vintage 4\" Celluloid Italian Doll
This collection belonged to my aunts estate. I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT DOLLS!!!!! If you have any questions, please be very specific so I can answer to the best of my ability.
Many of the dolls have sale or antique shop tags with descriptions. This tagis how I obtained much of the information posted, butI do not know if the information is entirely correct. I will be selling my auntsentire collection in bits and pieces. If I have given any wrong information, please send me an email so that I may correct the ad, and possibly learn something along the way.The pieces sold are vintage, some dating back to the 30\'s. I am not an expert, nor am I familiar with all the proper terms to be used in describing such items. However, I describe each item as best and honestly as possible, but I am human and may miss something unintentionally.
This sale tag states: 4\" Ital. celluloid $22.00.
Description: The eyes close when horizontal. The dress is an eyelet, cream color and blue diaper. Arms and legs are jointed and move freely, able to sit upright as shown in photos. Bonnet is the cream eyelet trimmed in blue lace. Hair is, I think the term is rooted. Again, pardon my ignorance if I am mistaken in terminology.
