Vintage 1930s tricycle made by the Junior Toy Company in Hammond, Indianaabout the time they began to manufacture bicycles and tricyclesunder the \"Roadmaster\" name. The top of the line for these tricycles was named \"Sky King\". Measures 29 1/2\" tall. Measurement across the rear wheels is 20 1/2\". Front wheel is 19 1/2\" diameter. Rear wheels are 12\" diameter. Bat-wing style handlebars measure 18 1/2\" across tips. Metal wings on the front axle measure 6 1/2\" long. Tires are solid rubber. This tricycle has most likely been repainted. Front spokes are loose enogh that the wheel can wobble from side to side. Front tire has a 1/2\" x 1 1/2\" chunk of rubber missing. Rear wheels don\'t spin true.The rubber of one pedal is cracked through and the rubber of the other pedal is missing one corner. Photo #8 shows how the handlebars connect to the steering tube with a 1/4\" diameter bolt that passes through. The depressed areanear the bottom of the handlebar neck fits into the cutout section of the steering tube toenable the handlebars to turn the front wheel. The last two photos show how far the handlebars turn left and right before the front wheel begins to turn. Local pickup is ok.
