Style/description: A fabulous Art Deco photo or picture frame made from pastel green Lucite* with curved, wavy sides and with scroll feet on the underside of the clear base.The sides have slots on the inside into which you place your 2 glass sheets with a photo or picture between them. Very Art Deco in style and in great condition.

*Lucite is a hard, coloured plastic \'invented\' in the 1920/30sby Companies such as Dupont and a fore-runner of perspex which is clear ratherthan coloured. Lucite, made in sheets, was pattern-cut and moulded into a hugenumber of pretty household items and is extremely durable, has no taste/smelland ideal to use today as then. Unlike Bakelite, it was extremely popularas cut-offs could be re-formed and moulded and was worked by many people athome.

MEASUREMENTS approximate:Base -8 inches by2 inches. Height to the top of thesides of the frame / the inserts 3.25 inches - height to the top of the glass when in place 6.5 inches and the glass is 5.6 inches by 3.5 inches.

CONDITION:NO damage to the Lucite and the 2 sheets of glass are new. The pretty, colourful postcard has been used on the reverse but offsets the frame nicely. On the underside of the base, there is a little \'dust\' between the green and clear layer of Lucite.
