About me, the seller:For those of you who don\'t know me, here\'s my story....I just got back from Boston visiting my son Jake who this endeavor of mine is all about.
Spent a lovely long weekend catching a Red Sox game at Fenway Park, going to museums, and just generally spending time with my son and listening to his dreams for the future. He\'s got exciting musical career plans in the works...and hopefully by year end I can tell you about them with certainty making this timeless effort of listing on worthwhile.Jake is my son. He\'s a drummer, and 21 years old. When he graduated from HS a couple years ago...he only wanted to go to one college: Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Yikes! Very few who audition get in there, but...my son was accepted.So...After the congrats, the reality set in on how the heck were we to pay for this 4 year degree at Berklee. to the rescue!
But, here I am now with him commencing his Senior year with a gpa of over 3.8 and a promising music career on the horizon.My store is called Ziggy\'s Vault. Ziggy is my Quaker Parrot who was a rescue from a broken home and I found him at a flea market during spring of 2010. A picture of him is now up at the store. He has quite a vocabulary now with \"Good Morning\" and \"Hello\" topping the repeat over and over list.
We\'ve now added \"Love you\" and \"No..No..no!\" to the conversation :-)Anyways...I mostly list jewelry...vintage unusual jewelry
How did I acquire it????I got my stash of stuff back in the 70\'s and 80\'s when my mom Helen & I used to go flea marketing, and antique hunting together.
Oh, every Thursday was garage sale day, and we\'d go off and spend lots of quality time together. Saturday\'s and Sundays we hit the flea markets and antiques shows.
Mom is now is gone, but I have all our treasures...and there are boxes and boxes of them. They are all in my crawl space, and I\'ve been taking out and discovering treasures I never even knew I had!Why? Well....

Mom used to always tease me that out mother-daughter hobby would become my \"inheritance\" and that it would make me wealthy.
You know...I\'ve been doing this now for over a year...and I haven\'t even touched the surface of all the \"stuff\" I have.
It\'s like going down memory lane when I dig & photograph.So...there you have it! I\'m not so sure of the wealthy part selling it on , but it\'s a piece of the financial puzzle that makes it possible for my son to attend the College of his dreams one sale at a time!
