Up for offer today is what I believe to be a vintage cast iron self-standing parrot bottle opener in excellent condition without any structural damage that I can find.

This opener is a solid piece with minor paint loss and the use wear of an aged metal utilitarian item. It contains the original paint and reflects zero signs of any touch-ups.

I recently obtained it at an antiques and collectibles sale and am basing my claim that it\'s vintage on where I obtained it, the solid construction, the material used and the patina of the piece.

Of course, I will need to leave the final determination to the experts in the community.

I\'ve taken care to include closeups at all angles for your review and to best illustrate my description.

This opener measures approximately 3 1/4\" tall and the base is 1\" x 1 3/8\".

This charming fella would be a fantastic cross-collectible addition to your vintage figural/animal cast iron items and bottle opener collection or a great gift for that special collector in your life!
