This box is 10\"x 4\"x 2 1/4\". I don\'t know who made it or how old it is. It has dove-tail corners. I don\'t know what type of wood it is made of. It is a very light-weight wood. The bottom of the box is marked \"Special G\". I don\'t know what that means. It does have a few problems.
There are quite a few scratches on the box.The corners and edges have some wear on them.Some of the dove-tailing is not straight.One of the tiny nails is missing from the metal closure.Lot of scratches on the bottom of the box.Previous owner\'s name is written in ink on the bottom of the box. The address is Greenfield, Iowa(I believe).Inside back of box has some thin wood pieces where the nails connect the hinges to the box.Little bit of staining on the inside of the box.
