The aluminum legs and back rail are in very nice shape. The foam and fabric is brand new and there is a custom pad to cover
the springs.The maple wood has been nicely refinished and the corners filled with solid wood where they had separated slightly (pictured).
The daybed is sturdy and has never been broken or repaired. Just because the original labels are missing does not mean this is a replica in
ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. The construction of the hairpin legs is a very complicated process, made of solid aluminum tubing,
which today would cost you over a grand to have a machinist make these. all of the construction of this daybed is exact to being an
original Herman Miller product.
This is American design at its finest and will make an incredible statement in your mid century modern living room.
