Up for sale is this gorgeous large Green Depression Glass Serving Plate Platter, probably used as a pavlova plate, in a simple ribbed design and dating from around the 1930s.In great condition with no chips, cracks or repairs but mentioned for accuracy is a burst air bubble to inside edge of platter that feels like a chip but was made in the manufacturing of the glass. Bubbles are very typical in glass of this era and if there were no bubbles I would be suspicious of the age and authenticity of this piece and sometimes they are close to the surface of the glass that they burst and form a hole when glass is cooling.The plate is a large 29cm in diameter.Pictures form part of the description.
