♥DESCRIPTION:An extremely stunning rare vintage, maxi long, light wool riding dress in reds, yellows, blacks tartan / plaid check ~ with beautiful, flattering & unusual styling by Laura Ashley ~ this is a lightweight soft wool dress in a delightful riding style...Very Downton...and it is DIVINE!!!

Vintage Laura Ashley ~ 70s/80s, with a very 40s War Bride feel ~ and 50s Vamp ~ and also reminiscent of the Victoriana / Edwardian riding dresses ~ and VERY Vivienne Westwood in style ~ taking the shape of the body into the waist, very hour-glass, and flaring out towards hem.....featuring a black velvet collar ~ very slight v-neckline ~ a row of black velvet covered buttons all the way down the front bodice for fastening ~ & full length sleeves ending with black velvet cuffs. The skirt is long and very full ~ very fit and flare, tailored to the bodice and then flowing out over the free size hips....very curvy and extremely flattering ~ and with a HUGE sweep hem with masses of tartan fabric which swirls around you as you move and walk!!! xxx

The back of this dress is just stunning also ~ like the front it has been beautifully shaped with seaming that draws in at the waist creating that very sexy 40s style \'nipped in\' waist look, beneath the waist the fabric cascades down to form a gorgeous long, full sweep skirt which is swing panelled and falls into lovely loose pleats. ~ The dress is lined.

This dress is just gorgeous ~ in thatincredibly sexy & flattering Victorian full length riding style with the unusual & striking tartan print ~ & the velvet buttons and trim make it even more stunning ~ could be worn with boots for a Victorian / Edwardian or Bohemian feel ~ or ballet pumps ~ and anything in between ~ It\'s just so versatile & easy to wear!!! And absolutely ideal for special occasions, wedding, important functions ~ or for work ~ ir just for looking beautiful any time any day ~ a REALLY STRIKING LOOK!!!
