Item Description:
This vintage miniatureUte or possibly Navajobasket has been beautifully woven. It has an attractive stepped design with a finished herringbone stitch at the edge. It measures 3 5/8\" across and is in excellent vintage condition.(This is a miniature Navajo wedding basket which the Navajo weave for their ceremonies - but they are also sometimes woven by the Ute and traded with the Navajo.)
