NOW, I AM NATIVE AMERICAN, AND AT THE POW WOWS, I HAVE SEEN EARRINGS NEARLY IDENTICAL TO THESE. THERE THEY SELL FOR $500.00 NOW, AS STATED, I CANNOT PROVE THESE ARE NATIVE, FOR THE NEXT POW WOW IS NOT FOR A FEW MONTHS.SO, I HAVE THEM LISTED AS NON NATIVE AMERICAN. THESE ARE HEAVIER THAN THE CHEAP ONES FOUND IN DEPARTMENT AND JEWELRY STORES. A VERY NICE, ALMOST SEXY FEEL TO THEM. THE INLAY IS PERFECTLY DONE. EACH TYPE OF STONE HAS A THIN STRIP OF GOLD TO SEPARATE THEM.THESE INLAID STONES ARE VERY THIN AND SEPARATED BY A STRIP OF GOLD LIKE IN CLOISONNE . AT THE TOP OF EACH IS A QUARTER INCH WIDE DOT, BEHIND THAT DOT? IS THE POST FOR THE EARS.
THESE EARRINGS MEASURE
20 mm\'s LONG AND 9 mm\'s WIDE X 4 mm\'s THICK . . THE ONLY MARKINGS IS THE 14K STAMP ON THE REVERSE. THESE HAVE THE FEEL OF BEING MADE BY A TRIBE. WHICH, I CANNOT SAY. IDENTIFY THE STONE, AND U IDENTIFY THE REGION THEY CAME FROM.
MY GUESS IS ARIZONA, NEW MEXICO, NEVADA AREA. WEIGHT IS A NICE , 3.77 GRAMS . NOT TO LIGHT TO BE FRAGILE, NOT TO HEAVY AS TO BE TOUGH ON A LOBE . . .
