Item Description:

This vintage Navajo watch band bracelet has been beautifully crafted by Navajo silversmith Raymond Yazzie. Raymond Yazzie has been an active silversmith since the 1970s and has won numerous awards for his work.

The watch band is very elaborate with sterling silver leaves and tendrils which have a gold wash. The leaves and tendrils surround a wonderful piece of deep red coral and a turquoise stone. Raymond uses only high quality stones in his work and does the cutting and polishing himself. The center front of the watch band measures just over 1 1/4 inches tall. The bracelet size is 6 inches around with an additional 1 5/8 inch opening at the back for a total of 7 5/8 inches around. The inner watch keepers (which fit around the watch pins) measure just over 5/8 inch wide. The center area would fit a watch up to 7/8 inches wide and there is about 1 1/2 inches between the inner watch keepers. The outer watch keepers then fold over the edges of your watch. This bracelet is signed with Raymond\'s hallmark and stamped sterling. This bracelet weighs 3.1 ounces and is in excellent condition.
