VINTAGE OLD PAWN 1940s TURQUOISE STERLING SILVER CUFF BRACELET:

This is a family piece. All I know about it is that it was purchased in New Mexico in the 1940s. I am not a gemologist but have been a jewelry maker for 7 years so I have some knowledge and will do my absolute best to describe it accurately.First, this is a massive piece. It is all silver and turquoise, with ornate braided silver around the stones outside of the bezel settings and it also has a matching twisted silver center bar behind the stones and running around the bracelet which makes it three silver pieces wide.It has 5 very large oval turquoise stones and large silver half spheres decorating it. It is very heavily made. I have a 6.5\" wrist and while it goes on a little tight like all cuff bracelets, once on it is a bit large for me. I estimate it would fit up to an 8\" wrist and would also make a nice man\'s bracelet if desired.I can find no markings on the back except for a small stamped \"v\" on one end of the bracelet. This being said, it is impossible for me to believe that a piece this large and elaborate would not be genuine. Plus, it\'s so old. Pretty nice workmanship, although I don\'t believe it is a high end artisan piece due to the fact that the bezels around the turquoise are not \"perfectly\" seamed, but that\'s just me.
