This is agreat ORIGINAL impressionist oil on canvas painting, very beautiful and very decorative, depicting a superb marine scene with a man in a fishing boat, green/white waves, water reflections in a mostly atmospheric morning light. With a firm color palette and well rendered composition, this painting emits a peaceful feeling. This is not only the result of the artist’s masterful impressionist technique and talent, but is evidence of the respect that he had for nature.

Signature is on the left side, but name is hard to read: D. Marr- We don\'t know anything about the author, we don\'t have a history of this painting, butwe can see in this artwork a mature talent of an artist entirely confident of his powers.

This is a Medium Size fortheframe aprox. 16 x 12 in and the painting is 12 x 8 IN.

Very goodcondition, for the painting, with very small imperfections, nothing noticeable.

Because of the bright light of the flash and the gloss of theart there is some glare in the image that does not appear in the actual picture; please ignore it! I took some pictures with the flash and some others without the flash! However, the colors are vibrant and close to reality!
