A very unusual, English, Sterling Silver tea caddy spoon.

Fresh from an Atlanta estate comes this hand made spoon. It has a hammered, planished finish & a seashell (scallop shell) on the end of the handle. I call it a caddy spoon but it may have been meant to process & snort certain substances. Let me know what you think about that.

It measures about 4 3/8\" (11 cm.) long.

It has British Hallmarks: the leopard\'s head = London, England (in the bowl); \"PJH\" = the silversmith\'s initials ( I have not been able to identify him & if any fellow er can help , I would be very grateful); the lion passant = Sterling Silver & the date letter \"p\" = 1970 (on back of handle).
