VINTAGE RARE 1906 GIBSON A3 A STYLE MANDOLIN NICE:

Here we have a nice vintage Gibson A3 A style mandolin. It is in good condition and plays very nice. For a 108 year old instrument it looks great. This was gone through by a fine luthier here in Kansas City. There are no splits in the top or back. There are some repairs that have been done over the years but all are good and solid repairs. The neck heel has a repaired crack. On the side where the bridge is attached there is a repaired crack there. It has the inlaid pickguard . It has the inlaid tuner buttons. One post and gear looks to have been replaced at some point. It has the floral inlay on the headstock. The bridge has been replaced at some point also. It has the original THE GIBSON tailpiece. There are some bumps and scratches and dings. This mandolin is very solid, looks nice, and is ready to play. You do not see the pre 1910 Gibson mandolins very often. I do not have a case.
