tea cup 3-1/2 inch at rim stands 2-3/4 inches tall all pieces have gold trimmed scalloped edges ... IN MINT CONDITION PLEASE NOTE:
We are not dealers, and certainly not experts on porcelain, ....just collectors supporting our collecting habits....there is lots of differing opinions about Meissen marks .....
we were asked about cut marks through the Meissen crossed swords .... an opinion that these items may be seconds ...

Seconds MarkMeissen does nto produce seconds, contrary to the polular lore concerning crossed hatch marks.

others have told us these marks indicate which factory they were produced in .... others say its dating mark ...

others say it indicates where the piece was painted or an artist reference... ...still others claim them to be mold identification marks ....

we have been unable to find anything from Meissen, stating what these marks are or what they may represent...
