From an estate we are liquidating, a GEORG JENSEN, STERLING SILVER DOUBLE LEAF ANDBERRY BROOCH PIN. This design is by LaPaglia, marked \"L.P.\" as part of the Jensen markings on these pieces of jewelry.Alphonse LaPaglia ( 1907 -1953), born in Sicily and studied silversmithing with Georg Jensen in Denmark. During WW II he created pieces for Frederick Lunning at the Georg Jensen store in New York City. LaPaglia continued to make pieces until about 1949.The pin is Unpolished, the silver shows wonderful patina. Please see photos for size and condition.
