Description:
Vintage, This is an early piece of tapa cloth made from pounded bark of the paper mulberry, bread fruit, and other plants of the Pacific Islands. It has a nice block pattern. It is quite large measuring approximately 34 x 52 inches. I believe this piece is from the early 1900s. There is considerable wear along the fold lines. see pictures for condition. some hanging or humidity or even framing will relax the folds. Great care will be taken with accept PayPal.
