This copper canteen/water bottle comes from a private collector/estate.
This is believed to be from mid 20th to early 21st century, but I am not sure of its exact age.
You receive a solid copper water canteen with hanging chain and wood stopper.
It has hammered/hand forged design, and the craftsmanship is stunning.
I do not know the material content of the chain and the stopper.
This item was used only for display purposes. So, it is in great vintage/pre-owned condition. It shows no major damage.
It may show minor surface scratches, minor oxidation, minor dings/dents, and other imperfections.
This was hand made by the artisans, so it may show imperfections in its designs.
The chain may show some oxidation/discoloration/rust.
This canteen is sold only for display purposes only, NOT for food/water use. It is not marked/branded.
The design is traditional/ethnic Turkish/Ottoman and mimics the ancient military canteens. Very primitive and rustic design.
The copper underneath is peaking through at some places and this gives an amazing look to this canteen.
The canteen has a chain and a wood stopper/bottle cap attached to the chain.
Size/dimensions: the body of the canteen is about 8 inches in diameter, about a little under 10 inches tall with the spout, about 5 inches thick, and about a little under 11 inches tall with the stopper, plus there is the attached chain to hang it.
I do not clean vintage/pre-owned items and leave that to the new owner. This item is clean.
