Up for sale is a truly vintage pillbox style hat made by William Silverman of N.Y. I am not a hat person, nor a fashion expert, so my description may not be as accurateand detailed as it deserves. It appears to be from the 1950\'s - 1960\'s era. It is Turquoise, has some netting, a feather and a metallic broach on the front. I don\'t know what the broach is made of.Some of the netting is missing as it was in tatters when purchased at the estate sale. I believe that it was originally intended to partially cover the face. The ribbon treatment near the broach is bent due to years in storage.The hatmeasures 18\" around.Itappears quite clean, stain free, and has no tears. Winning buyer pays shipping costs.
