VINTAGE VICTORY BY SALEM CHINA CO./GODEY PLATES AND BOWL:

Up for sale are 6 old plates and 1 bowl from the Salem China Company marked Victory by Salem China Co. Salem, OH 60/38 - NL Godey. Found them in a basement when cleaning out an old house.
The 6 dessert type plates are 6 1/2\". The serving bowl measures 9\" across by 2.75\" in height.
The plates are in good vintage shape, pretty. Crazing but doesnt take away from the nice condition of these plates. One plate has small chip and there\'s a small crack in one. I tried with pics to show everything. These are old and have wear but the pictures of the women on them are in good shape. One plate the women have some small scratches but again, nothing to take away from the lovliness of these plates.
The bowl has a crack at the 12 o\'clock position which I have shown in pics front and back. Also it has a small crack at 4 o\'clock position which I also point out in the pics. Inside the bowl there is crazing and it has yellowed in the crazing so it looks like it needs cleaned but cleaning it won\'t take the yellowing away. So bowl not for use other than display I wouldn\'t think.
