I bought this two piece set in Los Angeles vintage boutique. It still had it\'s original tags on it. It was originally a three piece set and had a matching skirt (not included in the sale). There were a couple of spots on it from storage when I bought it. Fast forward to present. I decided to spot treat. This has left larger watermarks. I wish I had not done this, it makes them seem so much worse now. The good news is that I think professional dry cleaning with remedy the spots and the watermarks. The spots did lift and lighten considerably.
The set is made from silk or a silk rayon blend. Set is fully lined in satin. Heavily hand embellished with cold to the touch glass beads. The jacket has an attached sash at collar. The dress has it\'s original metal zipper works nicely.
The dress is short and was originally meant to be worn at a long tunic. Depending on your height you could wear this as a mini dress.
The condition is great with the exception of:
Spots on bottom front hem and right sleeve of jacket.Dress has 1/2\" spot on front neck.Several spots created by bleeding from spot cleaning.Jacket has 1/2\" discoloration on right bust area1/4\" copper colored on left bottom hidden in beads, bleading into lining from my spot treatment.
Please remember to look at the photos. This outfit is just wonderful. Well worth a trip to the dry cleaners.
