You are looking at a VINTAGE 1973 IDEAL TOY CORP. RUB-A-DUB 17\" RARE/HARD TO FIND IN GOOD PR-OWNED VINTAGE CONDITION, COLLECTIBLE DOLL. She is Adorable. When we received her, her hair was sooo dirty and kinky, plus her body and blue romper outfit was very dirty. She had been that way for several years we\'re sure. We almost didn\'t work with her. I have a friend that encouraged us, so patients was our virtue. She is marked on the back of her neck, and top part of her back. Now, her blonde hair is clean, as is her body and blue romper outfit. The outfit has 1 catch in the back for closure, and in exceptionally good Vintage played with condition. We have no clue if it\'s an original outfit that went with the doll since there\'s no tag inside, but fits perfect. No missing plugs were found in her hair. Also, we were able to style it a bit. Her face still has vibrant color, with dark red cheeks, blue painted on eyes (no scratch marks). painted top eyelashes only, and eyebrows. She has a huge smile with her mouth wide open showing her tongue. The head is made of soft rubber, and body is of hard vinyl. She is fully jointed, but the only imperfection is her head is loose. I was also told this is typical of these dolls. Also, since she was a bathtub friend doll, surely she had her synthetic hair washed many times, and rubbed with a towel to dry, and lovingly played with often. That would have definitely have made it impossible to comb her hair back the way it was suppose to be. It\'s definite there was a lot of pulling on her head to work with her hair. These type dolls hair stayed very kinky/frizzy for many years. This type of treatment was probably done to all of these dolls so I wouldn\'t doubt most heads are loose, etc.. I\'m sure her hair is not styled the original way now, and it\'s still a little kinky/frizzy because we didn\'t do any pulling on the hair. It was only washed good and then conditioned more than once. If the right person purchased this doll, and knows more about working with synthetic hair, they can help her some more. They would probably know what to do to help her loose head also. If I were a Vintage doll collector, I would certainly keep this doll and add her to my porcelain dolls collection, and be very proud. It\'s really amazing to look at her now and know what she did look like. (PLEASE USE POSTED PICTURES FOR FURTHER DESCRIPTION).
