Vintage Bed Coverlet
Darling Walt Disney Productions (1964) print fabric depicting Mary Poppins on an outing with Jane and Michael Banks
Palette includes vibrant shades of red, blue, brown, and black on a white ground
Mary measures approximately 8\" tall, not including her umbrella
The fabric is a lightweight cotton, similar to muslin
This bedcover measures approximately 83\" in width (with one vertical unmatched piecing seam) and 98\" in length with an additional 11\" ruffle around three sides of the cover
The bottom corners of the body are rounded
It was handmade using red and white zigzag stitching
This is in nice condition. I do see a few thinning frayed spots and some small holes within the ruffled edge. It would benefit from a gentle soak to lift some storage yellowing and freckling.

Please keep in mind that manufacturers dye lots can differ; if you are purchasing linens to match pieces already in your collection, there may be a chance that the colors are not an exact shade match. This is especially common with Ralph Lauren red dye lots and is often seen in the Jardiniere pattern from the Diplomat Collection.
