Christmas glass ornaments and provides a luxuriouspresentation simply not found in other displays—photos do not fully capture itsbeauty. The felt-bottomed base also has a unique \'reveal\' around its perimeterexposing the silver-finish brass, which frames out the stand nicely and adds to itsrich look. Last photo shows the three parts disassembled. No more need toconceal frame, tape and wirework at the arms junction with leaves, berries andflowers—nothing is exposed. Sockets are vintage, the brass stand is pre-ownedand circa 1980s, all other materials are new. Not a \'hobby hack\'—this displayhas a level of quality not usually found in other custom builds and with somegreat features: -- This is NOT made from a modifiedphoto/greeting card tree that you often see, many having cheap, soft metal armsthat bend easy and tiny bases that tend to tip over, risking your valuablevintage stars. Arms are new resilient professional grade steel that spring backinto position on incidental impact (arms can be bent, however, if enough forceis applied). Large 3-1/2\" diameter brass base with additional weightinginside provides remarkable stability and long life.-- Unit is wired with brand new top-grade UL1007 wire rated at 300 volts, not cheap 50-volt auto wire or recycled wire fromold strings as is often the case. All solder joints are fully immersedpreventing \'cold\' joints from developing. All series connections are wiredcorrectly from negative to positive with no \'crossovers\'. NOS plug has flaredtop for easy gripping and is non-polarity (no \'fat\' prong) so it can be pluggedinto other vintage lighting. Generous cord length of approximately 4 feet. Displayis constructed and wired by a COMPTIA certified technician. --Arms are wrapped in modern shiny wire-coretinsel garland. Wraps are stacked tightly to properly secure wiring beneath andto help maintain a consistent profile over the length of the arms. Sockets arewrapped with the same kind of tinsel, but the rear openings are left uncoveredin the event the unit ever needs servicing. --Vintage socket shells and brasses arethoroughly inspected and tested for functionality and safety (parts may show minorimperfections from wear, age and use). Socket shells are secured to the armswith high-temp epoxy (not hot glue as is sometimes used) to withstand the heatof C6 lighting. Hot glue is used only to seal socket rear openings to resistcorrosion, dust and bugs while allowing removal for servicing. Brass insertsare set deep enough in the socket shells for safety and stability but stillhigh enough to allow the greatest variety of bulb types to fully seat andengage the positive terminals.--Sapphire jeweling is a smooth, chipand scratch resistant finish that can easily be touched up if needed by dabbingwith a standard Sharpie or other premium marker available at most big boxstores.--Hand-strung hanging beads replicate thetraditional tree trimmings of string garland and ball ornaments. String isattached in back but is free-hanging in the front so it can be easilyre-centered when needed. Beads can be removed by snipping string in back if youwant to attach your own decorations instead (florist wire works great forthis).--Shape is easily recognizable by everyone asa traditional Christmas Tree display figure and projects a beautiful image evenwhen not lit. #1: This item is a work of art fashioned by hand, and so will have all theirregularities and imperfections in fit and finish as any such hand-made craft.It is not perfect. Brass stand and base are pre-owned, and so the flaws, marksand dings found on a used brass item like this may be visible through thetransparent finish. Like any hand-made artwork, it has frailties and so needsto be handled gently with care. Don\'t force bulbs into sockets or over-tighten.If you bang it hard against something or drop it, you WILL break it. #2: It isdesigned for limited-term use during the holidays, not for all year. #3: Itcannot be cleaned with liquids or abrasives. #4: It may not accommodate thesize of every possible vintage C6 or E10-base light bulb envelope or baselength—you must be responsible for judging if your bulbs will work with thisunit (ask questions if you need). REMEMBER--this display is series wired forvintage C6 bulbs. If one bulb is bad, none of the others will light either.Please see photos to prove the unit is fully functional. Trust me...if you fillall the sockets with your bulbs and they don\'t light, you either have a badbulb(s) or they are not seated deep enough to engage the positive contact atthe bottom of the socket. Follow standard collector’s practice of testingvintage C6 bulbs with 9v battery and adding solder to bottom beads wherenecessary. #5: Jeweled finish is chip and scratch resistant--it is NOTchip or scratch PROOF! Think of it as a nice colored Christmas glassornament--the finish will be fine with normal gentle handling, but if handledroughly or you ding it or scrape it against something the finish willdefinitely scratch or chip! Get that marker I mentioned. #6: Socket shells areepoxied to hard steel wire arms, both which are pre-set at the proper angles asshown in photos--if you try to bend the arms too much or adjust the sockets bygrabbing and twisting them, you WILL break something!. #7: Absolutely No Returns,No Refunds, No Exchanges for ANY reason arising from any issue described inthis Disclaimer.
