This is a very large and very ornate easel stand for a painting, book, plate, or photograph. It is 22\" tall x 10\" wide. The shelf is 2-1/4\" deep but does get wider in the middle. The rear brass support can be removed if you want to hang this on the wall instead of on a table top. This entire brass easel is in excellent condition as you can see in the many pictures.
