Vintage Reuge Swiss Music Box.

Lovely old Reuge swiss music box.Made in Switzerland. I believe from the 1940s. Has a very pretty inlaid woodlid with a bird on a branch. The inside label reads \"Reuge Sainte Croix - Music Switzerland\". The label shows it plays four tunes: Vienna, City of my Dreams; Vienna Life; The Blue Danube; and, Anniversary Song. There are 50 notes.The music plays smoothly and richly with no mechanical sounds or vibration, changingsmoothly from one tune to the next. Measurements. It is 7 1/4\" long, 4\" front to back, and 3\" high.Condition (on a scale of poor, fair, good, very good, excellent) isvery good.Minor wear in terms of some light scratches and a tiny fleck of white paint that will pop off with your nail. The hinge on back works smoothly. Theinlay showslight wear.Plays very well, smoothly.Shipping. Free local pickup.The listed shipping price via USPSis the postage from California to New York. Sale Days. Most weekends are sale days around here. Not every weekend, but most. So come back and maybe that certain someting will be on sale! If it\'s not on sale, ask me to put it on sale for you!

Shipping. I carefully package each item myself and use hard styrofoam sheets, bubble wrap, peanuts, and newspaper to do the job right. I use new boxes and also recycle older boxes and materials to be as green as possible.

If you don\'t like my price, write and offer me what you\'d like to pay. I may accept your offer, or perhaps suggest a compromise....it never hurts to ask!

I try hard to represent my items as accurately and honestly as possible - damage and shortcomings too. Most of my goods are used, whether they are merely older, or vintage, or a fabulous antique - but they are used. Keep this in mind when considering a purchase - there will be imperfections and signs of wear to one degree or another. If you prefer an item with no blemishes and that is new, I kindly and politely suggest you purchase at a department store or a shopping mall. So unless I say the item is new, pristine, or mint - it\'s used. These items have a history, and actually that is why I love them!
