This is a Vaillancourt Folk Art original hand painted chalkware figurine created for Grolier Collectibles Ltd. “The Grolier Edition American Santa” 1988 Style #501. This piece is #829 of a total of 1500 pieces painted. However the design was such a success, an additional 100 pieces were moulded and painted for a total of 1600. American Santa is 9-1/2” tall, and painted with extreme care with lots of tiny and unique details. Notice the toys in Santa’s Sack, incredible! The Grolier Edition American Santa has been very popular in the secondary market and has been sold for over a thousand ($1000.00) dollars. Such a special piece would be the prize of every chalkware, or Santa collection.

The piece will be well packed, and double boxed for extra protection in shipping.
