This is a Venetian Mask. It\'s main colors are white (the face), the hair or headdress is Black, grey, gold, andcopper colored with black and gold sprinkles on various parts of the mask. It still has its tag on it.
The mask has a tiny mar on the upper end of the right side. Barely visible though. The mar was there whenI bought it in Venice. But I did not pay much attention to it, because it was the only one they had of this kindand so I just got it.
It is made of ceramic. The mask is a miniature. It\'s about 4 1/2 by 5 inches. To see its relative size, pleasesee the last picture I have attached, the mask and a pen, so you see the various dimensions.
The Tag is still attached to the mask. The inside states: \"La Maschera Del Galeone. A real Venice hand madeproduct. Artists have realized and decorated it in full respect of artisan traditions and original designsdeveloped in Venice together with \'Comedia Dell\'Arte\' during the 17th century.\"
It\'s a great decoration and looks impressive just about anywhere at home.
