Blade is extremely broad double edged of leafed form, superbly forged having chiseled ricasso/ferrule area, reinforced central ridge and is really built for most efficient combat action to be equally effective at both thrusting and slashing blows having deadly sharp edges and a killer tip, exhibiting very nice rich patina throughout with forging marks and file marks still showing. Solid overall and is truly amazing and super powerful weapon.
