Description

Description: This is a fantastic antique American Victorian era general store shop cabinet, c1880. Made from solid chestnut this 2 part cabinet features an upper section with paneled door fronts with large left side cabinet door, all opening to a recently painted white interior, short right side cabinet door above a stepped out small box cabinet with 3 small drawers. The lower buffet section having a single centered drawer over a cabinet door flanked by 3 drawers per side. Beaded moldings and a beautiful colored patina. Previous owner states piece was removed from an old time general store in PA about 75 years ago. Older restorations and repairs. Piece does show recent signs of age and use with some dings, loose moldings and small scratches. Very nice looking piece.Measurements: 24 inches deep total X 58 1/2 inches wide X 87 3/4 inches high
